Snow Day?

I guess I can't really call it a snow day, since our day off is due to the ice. We got out of school yesterday at noon, and I came home and took a 2 hour nap. Excellent. It was interrupted pretty often, though, by all the THUNDER! Crazy. We didn't end up with much snow -- only about 1/2 an inch. But it is on top of a pPretty serious glaze of ice.

Woke up this morning when I got the text from WKBT that we were 2 hours late. I stayed up (I went to bed at 9:30 last night, so I was actually kind of awake!). Read a book, drank coffee, and waited to see if we would close. I finally decided we weren't going to close, so I took a shower at 8:10. Got out, and the phone was ringing. Closed! Ah, well.

We have to make this day up, of course. We are now in school until the first Friday in June. Hopefully we won't have any more days off -- I would hate to have to go into that second week!
