Almost Vacation!

Only 4 1/2 days of school left. I think I can make it. This has been a long year, and I am definitely ready for a break. I am also looking forward to a summer of not doing a whole lot of anything! My plans so far include: 1 week in EC with Chris and Ang. Honestly! That's the only actual scheduled event on my calendar. I love it! Other things on my list of things to do include: trip to Milwaukee to see Myles & Shay play ball; trips to EC for campfires (but not camping); trips to EC to hang out with Jan and so Thor can spend some quality time outside; a trip to St. Cloud to see Chris; golfing; reading; a whole lot of relaxing. I can hardly wait!

Just not meant to be

So, today was attempt #2 at the La Farge Softball Tournament. The first one, scheduled for April 25, was called due to thunderstorms. The reschedule, for today, has been cancelled to to a super-mucky field from 10,000 inches of rain last night. OK, maybe not quite that much, but still, it's never good when you walk onto a softball diamond and sink to your ankles.

So, I guess we just aren't meant to have our tournament this year. On the plus side, that means I get an earlier start for my trip to EC.

I sure do wish I was in EC at Cancun for a giant margarita! Or more... But, not five pitchers worth! :)
